In the most recent national day rally, prime minister Lee has once again mentioned the development of Singapore's greater southern waterfront.
Spanning a large area from Pasir Panjang, Labrador all the way to Marina South, this large coastal area represents an opportunity to create a waterfront city that integrates the downtown with housing and businesses together cementing Singapore's reputation as a world class city for people to live, work and play. Having personally lived in this area, I can testified that it is already a pleasantly quiet yet convenient district.
